Why You Must First Clear Your Blocks & Limits Before Embarking On Any Personal Development

You might at some point in their lives or will probably be where you want to improve every aspect of it – be it finances, relationships, emotions, psychology, health and fitness. Suddenly, you probably stop and ask yourself: “Where do I start?”

The answer is definitely easier than you think. You can immediately go online and search multiple personal development sites out there that offer useful and comprehensive information. In addition, if you prefer, you can check your local bookstore or sign up for a seminar or course on personal development.

But just wait and stop there for a moment. Before you go looking for resources for personal development, take a while to read and ponder over what I have to say in the next few paragraphs.

Many personal websites or resources for development has always focused on the positive side of the main personal development as a creative visualization, goal setting, law of attraction and so on. What many fail to explain how an individual must first clear his belief limitation, negative thoughts or self-destructive the first before you proceed to program for personal development.

Let me use a simple analogy of the glass to illustrate the point. Let’s say you have an empty cup that is bright and shiny on the outside and which you want to fill with water. However, glass is filled with extreme dust and dirt inside, which is more than a view of the person looking from the outside. So what would you do first? I immediately pour fresh, clean water and clean the glass? Or would you clean the glass and get rid of all impurities from the inside? The obvious answer would be to first clean the dirty glass then fill with clean water to prevent water contaminated.

This analogy can be likened to that of the person uploading personal development. The person may look good on the outside, but if one is filled with so many negative or destructive beliefs or thoughts like “I can not do this” or “I am not worthy of success”, etc., just teaching their positive aspects of personal development, will make her better, until it clears the blocks first, restricted or negativity inside.

And that’s where Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) comes in – first to clear the negative aspect of yourself before working on the positive aspects. EFT is a method of coping and treatment of mental distress by tapping on energy meridians of the body. This is a very simple process that can be done at least 30-60 seconds per day (or when facing block) and most importantly, it’s free, safe & very useful. Some of its advantages include providing rapid relief from physical or emotional problems, such as trauma, phobias, grief, anger, guilt, addictions, fears and much more.
